The City of Gosford is the largest on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It lies on the shores of the beautiful, Brisbane Water which is a tributary of the Hawkesbury River system. Over the years, Gosford has grown from a peaceful holiday destination to a full blown satellite city and the entire Central Coast region has grown with it. To the north is Wyong and the Tuggerah lakes region and to the east is the pacific coast and a chain of sensational beachside holiday destinations.

Terrigal, Wamberal, Avoca and Copacabana all have sensational surfing beaches and are now becoming residential suburbs in their own right. The Gosford CBD is now the major commercial center on the Central Coast and satellite shopping plaza’s have sprung up throughout the region. The largest of these is Erina Plaza situated midway between Gosford and the coastal beaches. Gosford is connected to Sydney by rail and many locals use this service to commute daily for work. Gosford is just off the Sydney to Newcastle motorway which provides fast access to both centers.

The Entrance is a popular holiday destination ling just to Gosford’s north at the southern end of the Tuggerah lakes system. The combination of inland waterways and sensational ocean beaches and great accommodation, makes the Central Coast and Gosford in particular an ideal destination for holidays or short breaks away from the city.
